Karaoke, Nomihodai, Meeting friends

Yesterday (Tuesday) in early morning before going to sleep Jonas and I once again went for a walk. We went to the lake again, and watched the awesome fishes there. It was a nice early morning, and there were lots of elderly people running around that area getting their morning exercise.

Later that day, in the evening we had plans to meet up with friends in Shinjuku, outside the Alta mall. Before meeting them Rebecca, Jonas, Agnes & I went to eat some food.

We also went to Don Quijote. I bought a portable Go board game which I am very happy about. I have loved that game since the first time I watched the epic anime Hikaru no Go. Of course we couldn't avoid visiting one of the many game centres around Shinjuku, and we spent some time there before meeting up the other people at Alta.

We went for some Karaoke & nomihodai (all-you-can-drink with alcoholic beverages) which was enjoyable. It was quite a prolem though to be so many people so we had to split-up into two rooms while in the Karaoke place.

Funny enough some guys stumbled into our room suddenly, and we got to know them pretty well.

The guys we got to know suggested that we should go to an izakaya, since some of us decided to pull an allnighter. We went there, once again - with nomhodai!

Tender, a bit fatty meat.which was so good. Later on I realized it was intestines. Well, I don't mind!

After leaving the izakaya some went home, while some of us went to eat. We werent home til around 6.30 am.

 Today Wednesday Rebecca and I went to Asakusa to meet our friend Tsuyoshi.

Shibuya!

The night to Monday Jonas and I went around in the neighborhood, chilling on a bench close to the water. We bought some fun stuff in the Konbini, including some blue "cola" and a SMAP sports drink xD. 

Later during daytime we went to Shibuya.

The soft drinks were decent. Pretty cool though.

Later Jonas and I went around Ookayama station. We found an awesome bookstore, which also sold used CD's and games! Then we went to get some gyoza and beer at a local restaurant, after heading to McDonalds eating even more. Woah.

Ok, Internet still isn't working properly. Well, I am able to post some photos from yesterday - and I will!

Short update

This blog post will be without photos since I am not on my computer.

Internet has got some issues, which will get solved later, which also explains why I havent updated my blog yet. I have taken alot of photos, so they will get posted in the next post. Right now I don't even have access to Facebook since I am connected to some wireless "demo" line" with limited access.

We took the flight Korea to Japan by Delta Airlines. It was crazy, in a negative sense. Everything was overbooked, people were very unprofessional and it was pretty chaotic. Anyway, we finally arrived in Tokyo. YAY ^^
At first we went to Ueno to locate Yannick & Natto's guesthouse, which were supposed to be there. We found it quite quickly thanks to the help of an old woman, and two younger guys. Very helpful and kind people. Then we actually went to HUB (a bar) with the two guys which we got to know, and drank some nice, inexpensive cocktails for 190 to 240 yen. Happy Hour <3.

After the guys left we strolled around for a while in Ueno, before heading to Ookayama station, close to where we stay. We stay at our friend Yuichiro's house, and we met up with him at McDonalds after his work around 1 am.

Today we will go to Shinjuku!
