Party in Hongdae

Yeah, yesterday evening/night was pretty awesome I must say.

At first we went to the guesthouse where Jonas & Agnes are staying. We met up with some people and then went out to a club (Club FF?). Really nice club with inexpensive drinks, and we had so much fun. There were also some girl band live performance there.
After a while some of us got hungry, and decided to go and eat! One of our friends that we got to know was nice enough to treat us all to a very good Korean restaurant, with lots of beer and Korean dishes. Spicy deliciousness. I got so full. At the table nearby there were some nice Korean guys, which we got to talk to a little. Really funny people. Then we went back to the club for a while, but it was so unbelievably crowded. Woah.

It was a really pleasant night. And oh, later on Rebecca, me and our new friend Adam went to eat some tasty bingsu at the Ti-Amo cafe!! ^^ Perfect ending on a wonderful night.

A memorable day

Today I finally met my birth mother for the first time since I was born in January 1985.

I was obviously very nervous and excited before meeting her, but I could keep relatively calm before and during the meeting thanks to Rebecca's support. We went together to the adoption agency office to meet up and everything went so well! It felt so strange but in a kind of way very natural. It was like we were familiar despite the fact that I grew up without her. I heard I look very much like one of my uncles. Great, I've always hoped I would remind of some family member of mine. I will actually meet my mother again during this trip, and it feels awesome!!!

After the meeting Rebecca and I went around the Gangnam area, eating at a pretty nice restaurant. It was tasty! Later on we went home to the guesthouse for some rest, before meeting up other friends in evening to party!!! A big group of people gathered together here at our guesthouse, and it was lots of fun. Later on we went out to a club for a while, and then at last ate some street food (korean dumplings - Mandu).

A long & nice day! I wonder what will happen tomorrow!
