Last day in Seoul

Last day in Seoul, and also the last day of our trip.

We went over to our friends guesthouse cause our friend James treated us to some delicious home cooked lunch!
Really tasty food!
My Cherry Coke bought at Family Mart. =P
Jonas & Agnes outside Family Mart.
Rebecca, Yannick & me!
Rebecca! We went around looking for souvenirs around Hongdae.
I look really short here o_O.
Meeting up with Cecilia for the last time this trip! Here at a Japanese restaurant.
My food. It was really good.
Tonkatsu sidedish!
Rebecca & Cecilia at a cafe!
The chairs were really comfortable. Kinda like rocking chairs.
Best bingsu ever.
Served with white bread & cream O_O.
Mmmh... sure tasty.
Last meal in Seoul. Haha.
Our flight meal.

Home in Sweden we were obviously VERY tired! We slept in the taxi taking us to Incheon airport, then we slept in the airport waiting for the plane. Then we slept in the plane to Beijing, slept in Beijing awaiting the next plane, slept on the plane taking us to Stockholm and then we slept from Stockholm home to my city Örebro (2 ½ hours) and then we fell asleep when we came home - and were dead tired the day after that. I guess we didn't sleep very well for quite a long time, haha. But it was worth it. We've had a wonderful time!

I will continue blogging even after this trip. See you! ^^

From Tokyo to Seoul

Wednesday was our last full day in Tokyo.

We obviously woke up pretty late. At evening Rebecca & I met up with Tsuyoshi & Hide. We mainly strolled around in a few stores around Takeshita-Dori, and then walked to Shibuya to spend time in game centres & to eat.

The next day we strolled around downtown Ueno before heading to Narita airport to take the flight back to Seoul!
Me at First Kitchen.
Rainy Ueno.
The train to Narita. So exciting!!  ...............
Mmmm, flight dinner. Well, actually - it didn't taste good. And still, I am a huge fan of flight meals.
The queue at Incheon airport, for the train taking us to another terminal. Yay....

Sunday in Shibuya

Hey! ^^

Ok, so on Sunday we went to Shibuya to meet up with Hide! We woke up pretty late, so the plan was basically to eat & drink and to go sing Karaoke.
Yannick & Jonas on the subway.
Hide & Rebecca at the restaurant.

Minestrone soup & salad.
Quite good! Even though I prefer Japanese food.

Fun at the Karaoke.
Jonas performed a wonderful rendition of the Tarako song.

Ok, well - after Karaoke Agnes & Nathalie returned to the guesthouse while we tried to find any fun club to go to. Since it was Sunday it was quite difficult. Oh, and of course I got a headache and had to rest at an Internet cafe in the middle of the night. Typical me. After feeling better we all ended up at an izakaya.

Everything was blurry. Literary.
It was around 4-5 am, waiting for the first train to take us home to Ueno.

Well, that pretty much summarized our Sunday.  Cheers!

Last day in Osaka - Nipponbashi

Friday - the last day in Osaka before heading back to Tokyo.

Jonas, Yannick & me went from Shinsaibashi to Nipponbashi, also known as Den-Den Town. It's like a miniature Akihabara! Unfortunately I have no good photos of the area.
A valuable break at a cafe. Such a hot day.
Jonas & a full-scale Beatmania controller!
In Dotonbori later in evening we ate okonomiyaki again. In the picture is kimchi okonomiyaki & gyoza okonomiyaki.
Dotonbori, by the river.
Same place. =P
In Shinsaibashi.

I miss Osaka already. I wish I had the opportunity to visit Kyoto also, but since I was sick and we stayed for such a short time in Osaka we decided to not go there. Once I go to Kyoto I want to stay there for a few days, and not just spend time there on a daytrip.

See you! ^^

Osaka Aquarium (Kaiyukan)

On Wednesday Rebecca & I stayed in central Osaka while the others went to Universal Studios. I was sick so I slept most of the day, while Rebecca went around in the Shinsaibashi area.

Later in evening after taking some painkillers I had some energy to also spend some time in the area.

Rebecca with two gyaru girls.

On Thursday we visited the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan. .

Going upstars the escalator in Kaiyukan. You begin the tour at the top floor.
Very cute.
Not cute, but sure impressive.
Yannick recording a video...
Beautiful I must admit!
Penguins! So cute.
Ahhh... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I have nightmares.

Wow. Ah, well. This is not a fish. It is our meal after finishing our tour at Kaiyukan. Kansai style Okonomiyaki! A must-try!

The day before leaving for Osaka

On Sunday we were still in Tokyo - leaving for the nightbus taking us to Osaka the night to Monday.

While storing our luggage in lockers in the Shinjuku station we spent time around the area. There's so much to do in Shinjuku so you never get bored.

To spend some time, we went to a really nice Internet comic cafe. You can read manga & magazines there, watch anime, surf around on the internet, or rest if you'd like. You even get the opportunity to drink as much beverage as you'd like (alcohol-free).
Kaiten-sushi in Shinjuku. Inexpensive, but to be honest - not that very good. Nonetheless, better than most sushi found in Sweden.
We are pirates! ARGH! This game in the game centre was really fun! Sadly I don't remember its name, neither do I have any photo of the game itself.

Jonas in his natural habitat.

Rebecca!
Me!
My dear friend, Mr. Tonkatsu. Basically pork cutlet coated with Japanese bread crums (panko). Delicious!
At the Love sculpture in Shinjuku. As I remember it from Densha Otoko! :P
 See you soon, Tokyo! <3
